By providing your mobile phone number and opting in to receive SMS communications from the Mason County Chamber of Commerce (“the Chamber”), you agree to the following Terms and Conditions.

Consent to Receive Messages

By subscribing to the Chamber’s SMS messaging service, you authorize the Mason County Chamber of Commerce to send periodic text messages to the mobile phone number you provide. These messages may include updates, reminders, event notifications, Chamber news, service requests, or other important communications related to Chamber programs and activities.

You confirm that you are the authorized user or owner of the mobile phone number provided and that you have permission to enroll that number in this messaging program.

Message Frequency 

Message frequency may vary depending on Chamber activities, announcements, and events.

Message & Data Rates

The Mason County Chamber of Commerce does not charge for this service. However, standard message and data rates may apply according to your mobile carrier’s plan.

Opt-Out Instructions

You may opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time.

To stop receiving messages, text STOP to the number from which you receive messages. After you send STOP, you will receive a confirmation message and will no longer receive SMS communications from the Chamber unless you re-enroll.

For assistance with the messaging program, text HELP or contact the Mason County Chamber of Commerce directly through its website or customer service contact information.

This messaging program is supported by most major U.S. carriers including, but not limited to:

AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile®, Verizon Wireless, Virgin Mobile USA, U.S. Cellular®, MetroPCS, ACS Wireless, All West Wireless, Bluegrass Cellular, Boost Mobile, Cambridge Telecom, Cellcom, Cellular South, Centennial, Cincinnati Bell, Cricket Communications, Cellular One of East Central Illinois, Appalachian Wireless, General Communications, Golden State Cellular, Inland Cellular, Illinois Valley Cellular, Nex-Tech Wireless, nTelos, Revol, Silver Star PCS, Snake River PCS, South Central Communications, Syringa Wireless, Thumb Cellular, UBET Wireless, Unicel, United Wireless, West Central Wireless, and other regional carriers.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
T-Mobile is not responsible for undelivered messages.
Service may not be available on all phone models or carriers.

Age Requirement

You must be 18 years of age or older, or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian, to participate in the SMS program.

Phone Number Changes

If you change, transfer, or discontinue your mobile phone number, you agree to opt out of the SMS program prior to relinquishing ownership of the number by texting STOP or contacting the Chamber directly.

Privacy & Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. Information collected as part of the SMS opt-in process will only be used for communications related to Mason County Chamber of Commerce services, events, and updates.

SMS opt-in data and consent will not be shared, sold, or disclosed to any third parties.

If the Chamber’s general privacy policy references sharing personal data, the following applies to mobile messaging:

“The above excludes text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.”

Program Changes

The Mason County Chamber of Commerce reserves the right to modify or discontinue the SMS messaging program at any time without notice.
